Locals raise funds, supplies for Japan relief

Children at Oak Knoll School in Menlo Park raised $ 4,409 for relief Japanese "Special Friends Day," held March 25 in primary school. Two days before, the whole school, from kindergarten through fifth years, folded origami heart to give to everyone who donated. Instruction was given by the parents of Japanese students at a school by school television live. The day began with a meeting of the whole school, which includes a video of interviews with students about the importance of helping people in Japan.After the video, a fifth-year student of Japanese descent made a presentation on cultural traditions and daily life of Japanese students. Do not confuse efficiency with benefits. It is possible for government agencies to be effective without infuse in their pursuit of profit.

The key is to make the public understand that they have a fixed budget and therefore, they must fulfill their mission within the budget - even if that means merging with other organizations with similar mission.

No need to throw out the baby with the bathwater.

Sequoia Union School District is a consolidated high. it is comprimised of five secondary schools (plus several charter schools - Summit, Everest, EPA Academy) serving over 8,200 students.

Although I know there are many "school" in the districts of the peninsula, at the secondary level, it has already been "administrative" consolidation.

He did a great job STUNNING put more kids into the Ivy League and top tier schools than most other districts of the state.
